Mine is truly a "green" operation. 90% of my logs are from unwanted yard trees, construction clearings, blow-downs, etc. De-nailed wood is dried to 6% in solar kilns. I carry all of the common Eastern hardwood species as well as several softwoods and the occasional exotic.
Species carried:
Ash 4/4, 5/4, 6/4; Basswood 8/4 - 16/4; Eastern Red Cedar 4/4; Western Red Cedar, Roughsawn to your specifications from sound utility poles; Cherry 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 8/4; Elm 4/4; Hickory 4/4; Black Locust 4/4; Honey Locust 4/4; Hard Maple 4/4; Soft Maple 4/4; Red Oak 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 8/4; White Oak 4/4, 6/4; Quartersawn White Oak 4/4; Ponderosa Pine 4/4, 6/4, 8/4; Eastern White Pine - Knotty Furniture Grade 4/4 - 12/4; Yellow/Tulip Poplar 4/4, 5/4, 6/4; Sassafras 4/4; Norway Spruce 4/4; Sycamore, 4/4; Black Walnut 4/4, 5/4, 6/4. Other "exotics" by chance.
All lumber is surfaced two sides, 4/4 is 15/16; 5/4 is 1-3/16; 6/4 is 1-7/16; 8/4 is 1-15/16.
I carry 3 x 3 x 31" leg blanks in several species.
I can supply any species of 3/4" tongue and groove flooring to your specifications and stock several species at below wholesale pricing. I offer my own Studebaker Antique Heart Pine Flooring made from posts and beams salvaged from Studebaker Buildings 58/53, South Bend. Limited supply. The quality and price cannot be matched!

If it has to do with wood, I do it! With my portable sawmill I can saw logs at my place or yours. I have three solar kilns with a capacity of 9,000 board feet. I have a well equipped shop with a 24" planer and 43" wide belt sander. Quite often I saw a non-woodworking customer's logs and build furniture or cabinets from the lumber.
If I can't do it in my shop I have a network of local shops that do everything from planing and straight-line ripping to milling custom moldings. We can reproduce your obsolite mouldings from a sample piece.
I maintain a list of subcontractors that can assist you with anything from flooring installation and finishing to installing complete trim packages. Call or email with your needs.
